At the risk of offending.....did I tell you that I hate you already?
Seriously nice work man. Is this still subpatch or have you frozen the mesh to add the extra detail? Not crit but are the parts animatable or is it one piece?

thank you guys, and I know that i use to add some dirt and the lightning isn't really perfect too.
thanks Roux, your sabre is really amazing and i like it much, i use subpath for the model and then I can take control for low polygons model when the aircraft is far away from the camera, here add an other aircraft WIP wireframe, and I'm sure that you know that airplane ![]() Sorry to not showing the aircraft animation simply because it's a customer work and i can't show it by now. |

Looks like a Harrier. (at least thats what we call them in the US) or VTOL.
I know what you mean by too clean Kevin, but sometimes when I see pictures of real life jets I think they are too clean also. So... maybe maybe not. ![]() Last edited by Leovenous; 02-06-2004 at 05:17 AM. |

Nice SAAB Viggen! Is it going to be silver or later camouflage scheme?
I imagine the harrier would be very hard to do with just subpath. It's a very untidy airframe with lots of inter-fitted and moving bits. I bet you could prove me wrong though.:-)

you get it Roux
![]() Later will make the Harrier just for fun, I think you are right that it would be a bit different way for the modelling than the Viggen, but will try to make one ![]() |

wait, is that last one a photo you're working from?
if it is your model, how did you do the flame and the heat distortion?
