maybe you accidentally hit that polygon and turned off subpatch for it?

try selecting that polygon and hit the tab key?

Krull 28-07-2004 12:32 AM

no that's not it... it only seems to heppen when I use smooth shift
and when I try to mirror it blam I get that on evey thing

So is this a subpatched polygon you have here or not? How does the mesh look if you delete that poly as well?

Krull 28-07-2004 08:25 AM

yes it is subpatched and when I delete it, it leaves a hole....

Try deleting any 2-point polygons, if you have any.

and also do you have 4+-point polygons?

when u mirror, hit the 'n to bring up the numeric options and turn off 'merge points'. see if that helps.
