I am Flying through the Mclaren modeling Tutorial and Loveing every Minute of it. In my mesh and in yours in the tutorial there is a couple spots where there are five Polys shareing one point and it makes for some gnarly looking spots that dont render so well :(
One on the back corner of the car (see below for a shot) and some by the sir intake also. I find when rendering it makes for some very non smoothe renders :( I have tryed adjusting the polys but it still has some jagged pinches in it? Help?!?!??!?!??!

Will we be fixing them later?

i had the same kind of problem at my laren, i have truied to spin some quads on that area, which helped a bit, but as i can remember i have fixed it by moving some points around...

it seams no matter where I move the points around it still has some degree of pinching in the render :(

i will try to upload a wire-shot from my car later (tomorrow), maybe that will help to solve the problem.

i did the same thing as i remember... but i had some bulgyness with that 3-vertex... but yours is looking good to me

I fixed the air intake perfectly by pulling and poding the points. I wanted to ask Philip, if I wanted to fix these problem polys is it possible to fix the mesh so it flows perfectly?
