Default Batmobile

Hello Folks

2 months ago i heard about this challenge and the cool topic.

Modeling my batmobile toy that i've got since the early 80's was absolut funny.
The extender is my preferred tool to form a object
For texturing i choose to go deeper in the node factory then before. its absolut crazy how the possibilities for a texture are exploding... 2 steps for ...3 steps back ... but then! Slowly I have found the way by.
And then rendering, i like to put objects in a scene, so i build a background that giv'em a little big action
Lighting is a mix of 2 area lights, 2distant and polys with luminosity from above for reflection.

I hope you like it

Nice job ! I love the way you handled showing the model from different perspectives.

My only critique is that the refraction from such a thin piece of glass/plastic are not that noticeable. I'm guessing you put some very low refraction index. If you wanted a subtle effect you should have went even lower then what you had put.

Hi SMFloris

thanks for the answer.
the reflection index is at 1.12
give a near refraction from the toy but the borders are a bit to transparent.
i'm still searching the way with the dielectric node to come more close to transparent plastic. it's more like glas.
must find more time to test.
maybe with a diffuse node or so.
:-)
