Question DX export

Hi,

Been watching this forum for around two weeks now.

Two of us are learning lightwave from scratch, im learning it from a game character point of view and the other person an avi movie view.

What i want to do is export my model from modler, without rendering into DX. I have a plugin that exports models into the direct X format (.x) but it doesnt seem to be working.

I use image maps to make the detail up on the character, and one of the options is to create a folder for images, but thid folder dosnt seem to be created.

has anyone had any joy with exporting un rendered models to .x formats?

is there any way to keep the items subdivided as this plugin seems not to keep them with the tabed surfaces?
