Unhappy P-51a

Hey,
its been awhile but here is my newer work. I decided to model the lesser.....known....liked......acknowedged p51 mustang. I'm not sure why people dont talk more about the a and b models cause they did a lot for the war also anyway. I am having a problem with a texture.. n the image below there are 2 surfaces FUSE and GLASS when the glass is set to non transparent then the fuse looks ok but once the glass gets any transparency at all then the fuse gets transparent also, im not sure whats causing this so if you have any idea please send them my way.....the fuse is bright orange so that I can see any admiralty in the mesh better then a dull gray, C&C wanted and help with the surfaces. Thanks for your time.
