Default IRC Chan now availiable.

Server: irc.simplyvfx.com
Chan: #simplylightwave

If you don’t already have one you can download an IRC client here http://www.mirc.com (windows users) Unix user's BitchX

Open mirc type:
/server irc.simplyvfx.com
Followed by
/join #simplylightwave

Feel free to drop in asks questions idle whatever will take a while to get people in there 24/7 so don’t expect miracles.

I'm having some trouble getting IRQ to connect.
I've never used it and know nothing about it.
It's telling me "Can't connect to server"
Any tips for an IRC rookie?

If your behind a firewall it could be that the firewalls blocks port 6667 that irc servers in most cases use.

Hey I have been on our IRC chan from time to time using turboIRC (which I would reccomend), but I am trying to configure it on Trillian. Has anyone done that? In addition to the server and channel it demands a group and port. ...?

If I can get Trillian to work I can idle with the pros.

You know a lot more of us could talk if you people on the other side of the pond would change your time to any one of our 4 US time zones.

AAAAAAAHHHHHHH!

And like a true dork, I figured out the problem 20 seconds after posting this. Well, if any of you get on the channel you can harass me.
