Question Explosions and shattering in 7.5

I'm looking for a good tutorial on blowing up objects thats updated for lightwave 7 onwards. I've found a load of links to tutorials on this but a lot of them seem to be down, and the ones that are still linked are for older versions of lightwave, i know they probably are still valid but I can't find where all the options have been shifted to etc, since 7.5 is the first version of Lightwave i've ever used. So, I'm still searching for an updated tut.

Ideally I'd like to detonate an object of a specific shape, not just a sphere. (A spaceship for instance) The kind of explosion i'm looking for is one where the object itself shatters as the explosion happens, not just how to make the explosion by itself.

Any good links or suggestions?

I have an explosion tutorial on my site:

mapage.noos.fr/samuelLK/Tutorials/Explosion/Tutorial.html

As for making the object explode, you should get the CrackIt plugin:

http://f23.aaacafe.ne.jp/~fisjunk/pl...eler&version=7

To crack the object up.
And C4:

http://www.informatik.hu-berlin.de/~goetsch/C4/

To shatter the cracked up object.

Hope this helps.
