Default keying light intensity

what's the best way to key light intensity?
this only seems to be available from the light tab, then Intensity and a numeric control next to the X position coordinate.
How do you animate Intensity? With the graph editor? How do you get lighting intensity to appear in the graph editor?
Thanks!

Simple. Just click the 'E' (envelope) button next to any parameter to pop it into the graph editor.

However, if you set any of the light's parameters at a particular frame, then setting a manual key (with the Enter key) should cause it to save all the values anyway.

To get the intensity control for a light, select it in Layout and hit the 'p' key to bring up its properties panel.
