Default Saber

Just learned a bit of hdri so i tested it on luke skywalkers lightsaber. Looks a little dark but im happy with it for my first hdri

(i never knew how long they take to render :bored: )

It looks a little thick on the top I think...but the render is pretty good you should borrow a SW book on the liberary if you haven't allready...They usaully have great reference pictures and good info. (u could probably find it on the net to but anyway)

I tryed to make my own lightsaber couple of month ago, but it didn't work out to good...I might try again some day

yeh it is a little thick, i was thinking of doing one on a stand like when you buy a model

So do you actually own one of the prop replicas and have been using it as a ref? That would be so cool. But stupidly expensive at the same time!
