Question Lightwave 7 newbie

Hi I am a former 3dsmax user and I can´t figure out how to move whole objects when I have uses the "snap tool" and how di I select a different object? Beacuse now, I have made a side of a head and hided that one, and made a devil horn. I did push shift to smooth it, and I did unhide all (or somthing). And now when I can se the head and the devil horn I want to turn of smooth. But when I press shift the face smoothes instead of the horn, and oposit. Is there any good newbie page or a list of all command?

(sorry I am no good speller at englich)

Ok,,, to sel different objects i use the ] key (sel connected) and also i use the } key (expand) to expand sel.

As for smoothing,,, its the tab key,,, to turn on and off the subpatch. if you want just the head or horn to be smoothed,, then try to put them on different layers or select it and then press tab.

Good Luck
