I like to use key board short-cuts. To rotate the view I could use the icon in the persp window upper right corner, but I prefer to use the ALT key.
My problem is rotation pivot point. When using the icon to rotate the window, it spins on a centeral axis pivot point which is fine. (I am not sure where it's at because I can't see it. I assume it's the center grid.) But, when I use the Alt key my view window starts tilting one way or the other, when what I want it to do is, revolve around the centeral object pivot for selection purposes. I assume the problem is the center pivot is in the rotate pointer. How can I change it so the Alt Hot key rotate works like the icon rotate? I found the Alt+F9 hotkey box, and it has helped me alot.It would also help me if I knew where the mouse button controls were in LW, so I could change them when needed. I use a three button mouse. thanks kori Last edited by kori; 01-08-2004 at 09:24 PM. |
