Default Old Man Character

Heres an old man character that Im working on for an animation, I still have a lot of work to do but I wanted to post the head to get some feedback as I go. Im working on making some realistic hair for his brows and head but I dont think I like saslite all that much, not after using Maya fur... any tips on making saslite look like Maya fur are welcome, if its possible... either way, Ill figure something out. Crits and comments welcome and encouraged... thanks in advance, later. -Jesse

not sure why anyone has not said anything yet, but i think it is close to perfection. I have a hard time with faces, and I think this old man face looks great. I can not wait till I see some more updates... Keep up the good work!!

lol - Koots, I was too busy admiring it before to say anything!

Anyways, it does look very nice. I think he could possibly do with a few more old man wrinkles, but you can always add those in later. The cheekbones look like they come out over the ears a bit too but maybe that's my dodgy eyesight seeing that.

As for the whole fur thing - have you looked at the fur tutorials at worley.com yet? Stuart Aitken has a few good ones on how to make fur look like hair.
