Talking Have a look

I tried to make a realisitc table with several things on it. The elephant is made with the tute. The 2 pictures are mine. On the coffee mug there's Yeu Island in France and on the wall, that's Thun's castle in Switzerland. Don't forget i'm a noob.

looks good , only thing with it is that shadow under the picture frame, looks a bit to solid is you get what i mean. Anyways good work

Not that, he meant the shadow cast by the picture frame looks sharp.

Sorry,:headbang:

it's because it's a spot light. I tried to increase the ambient light and turn the spot. It's a bit better.

if its a spotlight try changing the shadows in the light property under the shadow tab from ray trace to shadow map, it tends to give a softer edge to the shadows

opps srry dont know whats happened there, errm try upping the size of the shdowmap to 1024 x 1024 maybe? if not sick with the raytace option.

It's better under the pic but worse under the animals. I find the second pic is the best.
