Default Muttley!

Getting back to basics since I seem to be incapable of finishing anything vaguely complex here. Maybe I went a little too basic, but this is for me to actually try and learn animation, rigging and texturing, the areas that I am totally clueless over but eventually need to figure out. I'm also starting with basic characters again to get my confidence back up in building more difficult characters.

Main modelling is almost finished, got to add some detail to the goggles, but that's about it.

He really looks like the same as in the cartoon. Nice job.
Now try to texture that dog! It would look really cool i think

EDIT: oh well... Maybe give the hands a second look. They look a bit simply.

Mutley, your dreaming again.
Your not Robin Hood and your nor Gunga Din.
Your not a brave knight or a king thats been crowned.
Your just plain old Mutley, a snivelling hound.

Sorry couldn't resist.

Hope you model Dick dastardly as well.

Great work...

@Odeone - I actually got inspired for this from buying the complete dvd collection of Dastardly and Muttley - the intention is to do some simple modelling again and build the entire Vulture Squadron. Unfortunately my competition entry is taking up all my lightwave time at the mo. But anyway, I did start on Dastardly although didn't get too far. Clunk is probably going to be the trickiest. Can you imagine the morph targets you would need whenever he spoke?

@David - thanks

This is one project that you'll have a lot of fun with. Two of my all time favourite cartoon characters. Clunks Morphs would be rather interesting to say the least as far as nailing down. lol

Either way you've done a great job so far, look forward to more updates.

Cheers.
