Default Lost Toys : CA4 Project

Hi, its about time i got this thread started. This is the most important project of the year and it will be progressing alot over the next 4.5 months.

The name of the project is called Lost Toys .

Story: I’m sure a lot of ppl on this thread lost a lot of their favourite toys growing up... I defiantly did and I never found them. I thought like most ppl, maybe I just misplaced them. But what if it wasn’t your fault and they had been stolen........

The story follows 2 small cockroaches that are caught in the act as they drag a young boys toy down under the floorboards. We also follow them to there lair were they reveal a lot more than we expect.....

Here is a pic of the 2 main Characters Slim and Noodles, Slim is the much older and wizer of the 2, Ex millitary and really tough. Noodles is his small but silly sid kick, he might get alot wrong but what he does right is invaluable to the collection of toys.

Good work so far - and a nice concept for a project as well. Best of luck with it.

Wooooo!!!!!! Good to see this up!
Not been much activity from us lot in a while, I'll get my final VE stuff up soon.
Should the Cat in the Hat hat not be a bit taller and/or thinner though?
You gonna have the buckaroo accessories lying around the horse? Also, I can't see it's back legs!
But, yeah, cool stuff. Not sure if I mentioned it before but the plot reminds me of an episode of Eerie Indiana where a guy who lives underground has every lost pen lid, sock etc. ... there has ever been in his layer!
Also, your sig image aint workin!

P.S. Happy New Year everybody!

Thanks for the reply guys, as for the coments about the hat, remember im making the toys/real version and not the movie versions or there illustration counterpart, Yes in the books the hat is huge but the hat u buy is shops is the size of the 1 i modelled, if was from a photo i got. And the buckaroo thingy, the back legs have fallen off, in the final scene there will be buckets and stuff hanging from some of the handles and also on the ground

IM workin on the Jurrasic Park car the now, tryin to get the hardest, well maybe not the hardest, the most time consuming out of the way 1st. Ill try and get it done for 2morrow night, im starting on the characters on monday, so i want the car and also the snes controller, pocket-game thingy, tamagochi and also some snes/and classic cames done :p

Well thats the plan :attn:

Happy New Year to all Simply members, i cant believe i didt say earlier

*my site is down, so my image wont work*

i think ill call it a day on modelling, here is my jurassic park truck about 15min in, im not to bothered about the mesh for these modells seeing as they are backbround elements, but i think the mesh is still ok with only a few triangles. I should rattle throu it 2morrow hopefully and get it done

I had a problem at the back of the car, ive got round it now, but hopefully i'll have it done 2night :p

I managed to dig out my Toy version from my attic 2day, its amazing the amount of this that are different between the 1 in the film and the toy, im goin to combine both type and get the best result :p

Some fun models you have there. :-)
I'm curious about the buckaroo horse too but I wonder if it would be less interesting with the other parts.

The Stay Puft Marshmallow Man's a popular choice here these days!
Can't wait to see your characters modelled!
