i had some free time so i modelled somthing that was on my desk, used what i had lerned from the shinny objects tutorial, i think i might put it in a scene of some sort, but what do you think of the textures?

Nice to see you back modelling, Sakey!
I'm going to avoid the question of why you have a butter knife on your desk...the surface is looking okay - but unfortunately my knowledge of surface qualities prevents me from describing what I might think could be wrong with it. The plastic handle looks fine...maybe a lighter colour for the blade? |

Well the environment is dark so I think that suits in well. It looks great and I guess it isn't that simple to model something like that.

Hi,
Looks really nice, only comment I can make is that it might be the environment that makes it feel like there's something not quite right about it. Perhaps seeing the knife in a more expected setting would help... I'm not quite as self-controlled as Fallenswordsman though: A butter knife on your desk??? ![]() |
