Default MakeHuman

Those of you that frequent other forums may well have already stumbled across this handy little utility.

It's called MakeHuman and allows you to create a pretty much infinite set of human models just by changing a few sliders.

There's a wealth of control available - it's even possible (apparently) to render directly from the application.

It seems to be pretty much evolving still at the moment but well worth checking out ... and best of all , it's free (as in Beer) ... although if you do use the application in anger I would suggest making a donation to the project.

Short demo video here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t8i8aGU0CwI

Download from the project here: http://www.dedalo-3d.com/

This is definitely cool. I had downloaded it a while back, but never could figure out how to save the objects. Watching that video cleared that problem up, and I am making models as we speak.

Thanks for the info. Very Helpful.

Now all they need is a "Make cool object" button integrated with it too. Nice find, Mark.
