Default Grainy renders

Hi after doing the little robot tutorial Lw3d always renders with a lot of grain. any help would be great figuring out why and how i can i can get a clean image.

Without more info on light types (looks like probably area lights, or maybe a dome) and GI settings, it's hard to say, but it looks like you need to add more rays for evaluation to the GI calculations.

try putting dome light angel to 45% and under renders -shading samples to 16 - light samples to16 .. Dome light to light intensity 90% and global Illum to 10% with a white background. oh and enable radiosity ... by looking at your model think thats what you have on ... Nice work on the model too
