Default Hi all :), another new one

Hi everyone. Just wanted to say hello. Have been browsing the forum for a few weeks now and I must say it's one of the friendliest forums I've been to *mmhh.....which ofcourse could also mean I haven't been around much :p *.

I have mostly been working with photoshop and after effects but trying to get myself going in the 3d area and I really enjoy working with lightwave. Just one tiny lil problem......I can't model to save my life .

I have figured out quite a bit about the program and the tools, it's just knowing when and why to use certain things at certain times isn't there yet .

Oh well, just trying to have a lot of fun while trying to learn lightwave and hoping I'll be able to create something decent in the future.

It's nice to see all the great ppl around and hope you all have a lot of fun

Greetz,

Cwazy

Welcome cwazysnowy. Don't worry about the learning curve with LW. Just practice, practice, practice and ask on the boards here if you need any advice (we're generally a friendly bunch )...

Looking forward to seeing you around.

LOL, please Kevin..............STAY AWAY!!!

I'm definately male, at least.....still was last time I checked....

Thanks for the big welcome

Mmhhh.......some work of mine?.....uhhh.....well.....this is what I'm working on at the moment. I'm a bit in a struggle to continue or start over. I have been following one of the head tutorials on the newtek site but I don't like the mesh that much, not really that smooth.

Welcome crazysnowy!

Don't be so hard on yourself about your modelling, I'm sure your'll get there!

Nice images, I can't wait till I can acually do something in lightwave. (I'm getting there with the coffee cup tutorial)

Bye!
