hi im new to all this 3d stuff have never done it before but want to start i have looked for some newbie tutorials but find it harder to follow by reading :s so does anyone know where i can find some other video tutorials for beginers ? thanks in advance

What's wrong with the ones here?

I could give you a link to another site with a few video tutorials but I'm afraid I might get beat with a steel baseball bat.

well i downloaded a tut from here and is very good but i am unable to follow it as i dont know the shortcuts etc for lightwave yet so he is doing things in the video and im like what how did u do that and do this lol but i got the layout of the head done lol, this is why i was asking if anyone had any other newbie video tut links

Try folloing tutorials in the same order:
- LW Modeler UI (http://www.simplylightwave.com/movie...mhtml?tut_id=8)
- Bevel a Coffee Mug (http://www.simplylightwave.com/movie...mhtml?tut_id=9)
- Sunset - free (http://www.simplylightwave.com/movie...tml?tut_id=506)
- Ocean Scene (http://www.simplylightwave.com/movie...mhtml?tut_id=3)

Then you might start with the stratocoaster or the mclaren.

i have done a LOT of other tutorials....nothing better than the ones here....trust me. give it a try. show us your progress and let us help you. that's what we're here for...

yeah they good the only prob i seem to be haveing is when he uses shortcuts there for i cannot c wot options he is selecting

even if someone had like a shortcut list id be all right then
