Default gunfire

Hi there,

I am creating an animtion where a plane is chasing another plane.

I want the second plane to be firing gunfire when it comes into the scene

Not sure how to do this, any help would be very much apprected, more detailed the better

Well, I'd be tempted to play around with particles and Hypervoxels if you want to try and get tracer fire from the second plane.

If however, you're just looking to get the muzzle flashes from the plane's machine guns, try taking a look at this thread for some pointers:

hello...

You can make something like this...

In your plane object create something like chilinder and put it inside your Planes GUN.
then create a new morph for that layer (the plane and chilinder must be in a same layer) and just translate the cilinder three or four times of the plane lenth in front of the plane... asign a new surface for the chilinder and than do what ever you wont with him to get the right look... And when you wont your plane to start shooting just pull your morph slider in layout and i think that that should work...
