Thumbs up Some cool free LScripts

Hello!

Here are some LScripts I wrote yesterday and improved today, all are freeware and open source.
The descriptions are taken from the readme files (that are included in the zip file).

KeyControl:

http://mapage.noos.fr/samuelLK/KeyControl.zip

KeyControl is a set of LScripts that can create, delete, cut, copy, and paste keyframes from
any frame, object or scene, to another with a tap of a key.
An item does not have to have a keyframe in order to cut, copy or paste its coordinates.
After you cut or copy a keyframe, you can clear the scene, close LightWave and even shut
down your computer. Then the next time you want to paste a key frame it will still be saved.

KeyControl contains:
CreateKey.ls (recommended shortcut - "i") - Creates a keyframe at the current frame
DeleteKey.ls (recommended shortcut - "k") - Deletes the keyframe at the current frame
CopyKey.ls (recommended shortcut - "c") - Copies the current objects coordinates
CutKey.ls (recommended shortcut - "x") - Cuts the current objects coordinates
PasteKey.ls (recommended shortcut - "v") - Pastes a keyframe at the current frame

AutoToolChange:

http://mapage.noos.fr/samuelLK/AutoToolChange.zip

AutoToolChange is a Custom Object LScript that switches the current tool to the tool you
choose every time the object is selected.
It is possible to choose another tool while the item is still selected.
The tool options are Move, Rotate or Scale.

This LScript is meant for nulls that are mostly either moved, rotated or scaled.
For example, an IK target would almost always be moved and not rotated (unless it controls the
rotation of another item), and a null that controls the rotation of another item (by using a
follower or something similar) would almost always be rotated (unless its position controls
another item).

RigPrepare:

http://mapage.noos.fr/samuelLK/RigPrepare.zip

RigPrepare is an LScript that prepares a character to be rigged by doing the following:

-Converts skelegons to bones
-Toggles the X-ray mode
-Locks the item (so it doesn't get selected when you try to select bones)
-Changes the item's visibility to bounding box (so you can see the bones better)
-Sets the display patch level to 2
-Hides all the cameras
-Hides all the lights

You can disable any of the operations by opening the script in any text editor.
Next to each line there is a comment explaining what it does, put two slashes ("//") in front
of the lines you want to disable.

Hope you enjoy them all!

Thanks!
I forgot about the LScript area, I'll upload them now.
I couldn't think of a better place to post this, but I would like to know for the next time where would be prefered.

I uploaded one Lscript but the other LScripts don't have an interface, so what do I put as picture?

You could say put a picture of an example of how it looks afterwards, but how would you do that for an LScript that creates, deletes, copies, cuts, pastes... keys?

Thumbs up Two more!

Here are two more:

LightSetup:

http://mapage.noos.fr/samuelLK/Plugins/LightSetup.zip

LightSetup is a Generic LScript that sets up within seconds a fast and good looking custom light setup.

SetValuePlus:

http://mapage.noos.fr/samuelLK/Plugins/SetValuePlus.zip

SetValuePlus is a Modeler LScript that sets the X and/or the Y and/or the Z value of the selected points to the value you give. It is an advanced version of SetValue.

Enjoy!

Thanks, Digi!

I am planning on improving the Lighting plugin quite a bit but it might take a long time to create unless I was to make it commercial which I don't really want to do. (unless people insist. )

I was going to seperate it to have one master plug in for renderosity and one generic plugin for seting up different kinds of complicated lighting rigs.

New and very cool plugins comming soon!

Thumbs up

A new version of RigPrepare is up!

RigPrepare V.1.5:
Click here for a discription, screen shot and the download link:
http://mapage.noos.fr/samuelLK/Plug...tml#RigPrepare15

Also Symm_X_Tools has a slight update so if any of you have already downloaded it, I advise you to download it again.

Here is the link.
http://mapage.noos.fr/samuelLK/Plug...html#SymmXTools

Update:
Del-Xb was updated to support polygons that are right on the x axis which Del-X didn't do. For example if you have the spline cage with the center going down the x axis, Del-X would delete that spline while Del-Xb doesn't.
