a nice enough tute but disappointing because its not exactly wat it says on the tin. tutorial claims its teaching us to model interior from 1 source file then the instructor pulls a bunch of premade backdrops out and models from them.

I wrote the description on the interior that was all my cock up, I meant to say one photographic reference was used and explain it a bit better my mistake. Anyone that wants a refund because of this misinformed description just need to give me a shout. It was not meant to intentionally mislead and has now been changed.
All the best David |

I'm a little confused by the description.
So does he model from one photograph or is it one photo then the rest are images from a previously modeled session that he models again over the top? I think your intro video could contain more information about what the project and the references he's using for it. Also the audio is not very clear on the intro video is it the same through out? Thanks Keith |

Sorry about the confusion, we're working on some major updates to the site at the moment. One of the things we'll add is better samples and individual lessons descriptions. I changed the sample on the page which should show what he does a bit better, basically he uses a single photo reference for the details but he starts up with a top, front and side backdrops based on a model he already made to block out the area. The audio is consistent with the first part (we're ordering him a new headset).
Here's a breakdown of the tutorial: Lesson 1: Introduction and loading up backdrops Lesson 2: Modeling the columns Lesson 3: Continuing on the columns and cutting out wall panels Lesson 4: Modeling the steps and railings for the staircase Lesson 5: Continuing to add detail to the staircase Lesson 6: Creating the lamps Lesson 7: Adding detail to the lamps Lesson 8: Creating the back wall and windows with decorative details Lesson 9: Creating the archways and details at the entrance Lesson 10: Adding the final details and finishing the model Let me know if there's anything else I can do for you. Cheers, Ellis |
