Hi all:
Just a quick question regarding the unweld command - whilst very useful, as far as I can tell, all the points are left in the same area so you have to pick them apart which can be pretty tedious, especially if you have four separate lines connecting into the one point. Is there any elegant way of separating points from each other once they've been unwelded? Cheers ![]() |

I don't know about elegant but you could apply a little Jitter to break them apart some, else manually tweak them using "i" in point mode.

Hi Bakasaru
Thanks for the information. I've been using the i point mode so far and just changing a few values for the co-ordinates of the points - this is what I was finding so tedious in the first place but maybe the jitter thing will be better- I'll give it a try anyway. Many thanks for replying. |

if you want to seperate them permanently I would suggest to select all polys after unwelding, then beveling them with a slight inset and no shift, then invert the selection and hit delete.
if you just want to move individual points around, select the poly that point is belonging to and use the drag tool (ctrl-T)
