Default Basic IRC commands to be used in #simplylightwave

First of register your nickname this will stop other people posing as you, also you will need to be registered to use the channel services.

/MSG NickServ@Services.simplyvfx.com REGISTER Your_Nick Password

This will register your nick to a password upon entering the server you will now be asked to verify that you are who you say you are.

/MSG NickServ@Services.simplyvfx.com AUTH Your_Nick Password

Fell free to introduce your self to the Virtual me he will keep messages for you or deliver messages to other IRC members when they login.

/MSG Virtual_david hello

To introduce you’re self then

/MSG Virtual_david HELP

You can set a password on Virtual_david if you wish by:

/MSG Virtual_david PASS password

Need a private chat with more than one friend on IRC

/DCC CHAT Virtual_david

And you can create your own space from there for a private room should you need it.

Have fun and remember mods will have a @ by there name and never ever give you’re credit card details out on IRC not even if god himself asks for them
