I am trying to model an idea for a key chain. I have been looking at tutorials, but i was hoping i could get some hints and tips. i loaded the an image as a backdrop for reference. I made a box and used drag to move the four points to the most outside points of the image. what i would like to do is add points so i can match the box to the shape. Late I will add a chrome or polished metal texture. Let me know you thoughts. If i left something out let me know and ill give it to you.

A better method for doing this might be to use the pen tool to lay down the points for the outline, then use the extrude and bevel tools to turn your outline into a more solid object.

Take a look at the first few videos in Philips Stratocater tutorial if you haven't already as this covers the same technique in considerable detail.
