I'm looking for a good guide to synching audio to keyframed actions within Lightwave. I'm not looking for anything as complex as lip synching using phenomes etc, I just need a good way of creating certain audio effects.
For instance, if I have a room full of various objects each one creating a different noise, as the camera faces an object the sound is louder and as the camera turns to face a different item the sound dissappears off into the background but in the direction of the object the camera's just turned away from. In short I need sounds to be spatially accurate. Much like you'd hear if you were playing a 3d game. I was wondering if there are any plugins for lightwave that can make this process any easier as I really don't fancy the idea of trying to create all this in an audio package. Maybe a plugin that lets you attach a sound to an object, loop it and have it get louder or quieter depending on the distance away from the camera. I've searched for some good audio tools, and although I've found some for 3DSMax, I've had trouble finding any for Lightwave. If anyone at all can help with this, or even just give me some better advice from someone who's done this all before. I'd very much appreciate it. Cheers. |
