Default Strat tutorial problem.

On the Strat modeling ( first part ) tutorial .. when I try to bevel the top and bottom parts nothing happens. I select the top poly, hit 'b'. then try and drag out a bevel ... but the poly just stays as it is.

Anyone have any idea what I'm doing wrong here ?

Thanks, Scott .

I'm not sure what the problem is, but how about selecting the top polygon, hitting "b", then hit "n" to bring up the numeric panel and and enter the values there.
If that works, undo it and try again beveling it with the mouse.

Thanks Kvaalen

I have fixed it, I am probably the only guy in the world who has had this problem but if anyone else does what I did was ..

1. select top poly and hit 'copy'
2. deselect everything then hit 'delete'
3. hit paste
4. hit 'k' to kill the poly so your just left with the points
5. select the points in order in clockwise direction
6. press 'p' to make a poly
7. extrude
8. BEVELMANIA !
