Default Animation Question

Ok, got an animation question. I have an object at one position on the screen and I wish to make it move to another position on the screen. However, I don't want an animation of the object moving smoothly from one position to the other, I want the object to immediately disappear from the first position and then appear at the other. Whats the best way to do this?

How about setting the initial key frame (frame 0 or 1 or whatever...), then setting a key frame with the object in the SAME position RIGHT BEFORE you want it to move, then move the object, and add a new keyframe at the appropriate frame.

Example: Say you want to move a sphere from point A to point B in one frame, but the animation is 10 frames... on frame 1 make a key frame with the sphere at point A. On frame 9, make another key frame with the sphere still at point A. At frame 10, move the sphere to the new location (point B), and key frame.
