First of all it wasn't god, but God. :p

Secondly, it is possible to do it.
You can try creating it with displacements, and/or HyperVoxels.
I could help more if I knew what you have already tried.

Do a search on Newtek's forum for Children of Dune. There was an incredible water effect done with LW only and the guy that did it (I think from Zoik or Area-51) explained what was involved. The thread was around the time of Siggraph.

how is your water test coming along, i am workin on a solution aswell, but mine is for water flowing onto a surface, like from a bottle of sprite onto a table. Will put a link to it when im finished rendering it.

Ok i am showing some experiment with creating water, these examples arent to do with the look but more the flow of water, i am currently experimenting with one emitter, i will post any updates i have on this.

First Test

http://www.geocities.com/utica_2k/pouring_water_01.avi

Second Test

http://www.geocities.com/utica_2k/pouring_water_03.avi

Please remember this is testing the Flow of water and not trying to give it the look.

The .avi files are using Divx Codec

i know a program named Real Flow that works very good. But its hard to realy get the realistic water feeling in lightwave. I mean, if you take 5 drops real water and put it together. It will be a bigger drop. But in lightwave. they seam to emerge into a small one again.

Here is a link to something I did a while ago. It might take in the right direction. Then again it may lead you horribly astray

http://vbulletin.newtek.com/showthre...threadid=11851

The scenes need some sort of backdrop for the water to reflect.
