Filming the tutorial
Phil,
How did you capture the footage of the screen when you did the tutorial on modeling a head? Did you film the screen with a camera and the convert it or use some capture software? I would like to know as this is a great way to teach computer processes. Andy H. |

Hi Andy, Philip uses a screencapture program.. I dont remember the name of it right now but I'll let you know as soon as it pops up in my head

I did a forum search and found that someone recommended a program called CamStudio found here
http://www.ehelp.com/camstudio/product/screenrecording/ theres a whole bunch of other programs to choose from, do a google search and you will find a lot..

I use Camtasia Studio for the SPS tutes. I think most all the simply tute guys use Camtasia. Its an incredible teaching tool.

Question is, what's the best codec and method for reducing them down while remaining readable?
