The setting and the detail on the hawk are great!

The only thing I would recommend is a change of lighting (If ambient light is on, turn it off). The underside of the hawk is brighter than I imagine it should be with this setup. It looks like the sun is almost directly behind the hawk, so that would be a good spot for your key light.

Seems like the wings are barely attatched and the body does seem a little to fat, especially around the neck, giving it an owl like apearence.
