Default Runway (catwalk) model

Hey,

Could do with some crits on how to improve this model, been on it for about a day or two now... Its been a nice learning curve but frustrating at the same time. Could do with a fresh eye and some ideas on improvement, I hope to take it to the next level and put a walk cycle on her so would be nice to finish up modelling sometime this month

Oh, quick note, if you think she looks out of proportion (incredibly long legs etc) that IS intentional, trying to keep it close to original sketches of long neck, very thin but slightly muscular etc.

Cheers,

cuse

I like it, you can always add more detail, but the form is sweet. How'd you model it?

Ah, my single response

Thanks chrispo... i started with the torso, drew the outline with the pen, extrude, created the side polygon's and then just moved the points and beveled where necessary. I had already started the head from the tutorial on this site, so just threw that in

I havnt really dont any organic modelling as such so this was a pretty big test for me i guess... Any ideas where to go next?

Ok, guess the back, near the armpit... Might want to rework the flow. Smoothshift some back,,shoulder things.. sorry not sure what the extact word for it is. The breast,,, seems to pop out of nowhere.. maybe adjust the top so that it plops from the top. I really like the hip part.. Nice. Keep it up and update the progress

I think the breast needs work for sure, its funny that i dont mind working on that but when anyone walks past i dont want to seem to consumed in it (for obvious reasons) so move to another section. Hence why its like a rock haha...

Its not used smoothshift at all, i didnt want to start adding too many polys wiithout too much need i guess? But ill give the armpit and chest a good seeing too and post back

Thanks for the comments,

cuse
