Default Creature tutorial

Hello

I have been working through Peter's creature tutorial and have begun video 2.

I have reached the point where Peter spins the quads of the eye and then merges the polys. [Movie 2, 6mins 55sec].

However, instead of merging 2 polys to 1, I end up with a hole in the mesh.

I have a couple of screengrabs to explain further. I have recently moved from C4d to LW.

Thank you..

I've not yet seen the video, but what you have is a six vertex polygon. This cannot be displayed as a subpatched object (since they can only have 3 or four vertices), so you see the hole in the mesh.

What you'll need to do is come out of subpatch mode and perform some welds to get the point count down to 4 and all should be OK.
