Default autocad - lightwave convertion

hi all

i got a drawing that needs some serious finishing. First i thought about making it again in lightwave from scratch but isn't it possible to convert or import it?
any advise about this is more then welcome.

DXF out the file. OR better yet, import a dxf into CorelDRAW do some cleanup and then export AI.

Remember to import using curves, not splines since DXF doesn't really support them well.

sorry for the late reply dude and thanx
i managed to import a 2d drawing but i got a 3d object that i want to import in lightwave. Anyone know that this is possible?

Default export

yes it is easily done, just go to File-Export in AutoCad then export it as a DXF file, then open it up in modeler and save as a lightwave object.
