hi all
i got a drawing that needs some serious finishing. First i thought about making it again in lightwave from scratch but isn't it possible to convert or import it? any advise about this is more then welcome. thanks all ![]() |

DXF out the file. OR better yet, import a dxf into CorelDRAW do some cleanup and then export AI.
Remember to import using curves, not splines since DXF doesn't really support them well. |

![]() i managed to import a 2d drawing but i got a 3d object that i want to import in lightwave. Anyone know that this is possible? |

yes it is easily done, just go to File-Export in AutoCad then export it as a DXF file, then open it up in modeler and save as a lightwave object.
