I recently posted to let people know of a training opportunity in my area partly sponsored by our new user group. Although my aim was to reach out and help educate, I realize that the "advertising" boundry was crossed and for that I'm sorry.

Its ok really not a big deal. Just straight advertising isnt allowed here simply because this site isnt about advertising at all. If you notice no pop-ups or banners flashing in your face on any page just nice and clean for our members.

I love 3D news. I wish there was a LW user group here in Reno Nevada. Is there a way to search for user groups in your city you live in?
