Hi guys,

I'm gonna have a go at this competition.

One of my favourite sea creatures is the Seahorse. After looking round the internet for some inspiration I found a nice little picture of a cartoony seahorse which I think might be fun to model.

I'll be back with with some modelling soon

Here is the fruits of a couple of hours labour on the model.

Thank you for the kind comments so far guys.

I've been thinking about the scene I am going to attempt.

How about an underwater medieval scene with a seahorse jousting competition. I'll need to make riders for the seahorses, maybe some sort of crustacean style "Knight in shining shell"

Started work on the rider for the seahorse.....

Dunno about the style though, kinda lost the cartoony feel.

Might keep this character for something else though as it looks cool.

good job !

i agree about the rider, perhaps try giving him/it larger eyes first though? might tie in better with the seahorse (amazing).

keep it up!

I'm interested to see where you go with this.

I agree with trying to keep the style of the rider in line with the seahorse. Or Something more along the lines of the Martian from Bugs Bunny cartoons: some big eyes in a helmet. Just a thought.
