Question Snowy Landscape

Ok i want make up a snowy landscape and im unsure how i would go about modling a realistic landscape. Anyone know how i could go about this?

OK Sake: What kind of snow? What kind of terrain? If it's rocky terrain, you could use a gradient in your texturing - use the slope parameter. I believe there are some tutes on Newteks site - Texturing 103 :creating a landscape would be the ticket.
if it's a snowy house scene, you can model some snow on the roof etc. if it's a snowy scene, you can use particles (sprites), and modelling, just throwing some ideas at you

hey thx for the ideas sorry about the long reply forgot about this , im doing a like cliff and then an open landscape , and probly achive it using the slope idea ya siad thx
