Default mirror modelling...instance?

i have seen in other modelling software the option to be able to model half an object and the other half mirrors as you move points... can this be acheived in lightwave ?

yes it can. just make sure the ajoining points are centerd on the axis you are going to mirror. do this by selecting all the center point of your object and hit ctrl V and the brings up a tool to center the points. say i the half your working with is on the right side of the x axis then the joining point would be centered on the X axis to mirror to the left of X also select the merge points box so you dont have to do any welding .:beer:
