Default Formula 1 - Mclaren MP4-20

Hi there strangers, havent posted here in a very long time as my love for Flash has taken all my attention, But here you go have a look at my latest that I started last week.
I posted it on newtek so I thought I had better show you guys aswell.

I'll try and keep the images in order although no guarantees .. lemme know what you think .. although it has been a while, I think Im still doing alright ..

Im just gonna post the progress with no comments if thats ok, you should get the idea ..

This ones shows me just getting the basic proportions right, the tires disapear ..

a little look at the side pods, the new mclaren is very difficult to get decent pics of .. so these sidepods have been a nightmare

this is what I did today .. reconstructed the sidepods, built the front & rear suspension and had a play with some textures ..

new side-pod with something funky happening on the barge-board, s-patch-levels I think, I'll have another play tonight...

new front wing with also some patching problem .. Oh!! also the new front suspension [even with the brake-ducts, I would never usually bother with such little details]

Kimi on side pod .. nothing else really ..

All I have to do is built a new rear wing and tyres also fix any crits from this thread
[opps, also fix ALL of my texturing, as I have just thrown those on for looks at this stage, I simply would not go on if I could not do it like that]

Happy viewing, and please crit or comment, as the newtek guys are, usually, not that reliable with constructive stuff ..

Yep, looks absolutely fantastic. I love the texture job. Have you been working from blueprints for the initial model?

Cheers guys, will most propbably finish it off in the w-end .. oh and, no blueprints, I basically built this from pictures in F1racing magazine .. but as you can imagine theyre not too detailed so quite a lot of the model is improvised ..

Haha, actually if you type Mclaren F1 into google images , all you'll see is the 3 seater [tutorial model]
