Hi welcome! Start here.

http://www.simplylightwave.com/movie...html?cat_id=23

Then after you do a few free tutorials look at some of the other ones and decide what it is you want to focus on Modeling or Texturing or Animation.

Mclaren and Stratocaster are awesome tutorials for modeling and texturing. The Caveman is great for modeling texturing and animation.

If you have any specific questions we are more than happy to help you.

Building a portfolio is something you will have to work on.

Asking for help is great its a start just be more specific.

Default Thanks

Thanks for the sites. this will really help me a lot. I was looking at Lightwave and it was very complicated. I just finished making a cup. I was amazed how a few little points and the lathe tool made a cup. This program will keep me interested for a long time and i hope to something cool to show u guys.
