Default Artworks 'Backlands'

Hi all...

Just posting a still from my Uni artworks project, which combines 1930's photos & some video of derelict closes with lightwave animation...
(I went up some dodgy paisley tenements to get video footage which i've colourised to match the photos)

The idea is to bring alive the old tales about spirits & bogie- men that 'lived' in the old tenements...

Hopefully it should appeal to our art mentor :p

very impressive !!!

I never knew u were combining the both for that class, the 1st is very scary scene. Rememeber if its just stills u are doin u can photoshop them up a bit to enhance the dark patches and also add ur own small effect..

Lookin good so far

Default Backlands....

Cheers Fraser....

>>I never knew u were combining the both for that class.<<

Yes, I'd started a painting on this subject but my heart wasn't in it, so I looked out stills from an old 1930's project that I'd been meaning to try, animated one picture, then kept going....

If I had more time to spend I would have retouched the photos as you suggested but hopefully I'll have done enough to pass.

After seeing Fraser & Peter's animations, I'm not so keen now on showing mine off :p
