Question shaky...

What would be the best method to use if I want my character to shake a little during an animation? i.e. someone straining as they pick up a heavy object... The animation is going to revolve around an old man and he cant do the things that he used to be able to do in his youth. i.e. running and jumping and anything else too active. He needs to look like his body is worn out and everything he does causes him to shake a little. But the shake needs to be very subtle, not violent. Im toying with some different ways to do this but cant really get it to look right.. any suggestions would be awesomely appreciated as the animation will rely heavily on this effect to convey mood. thank you.

You could add a Noisy Channel with the graph editor but you cant give it an envlope to make the shaking start or stop at a certin time.
So you could use the KeyFramer plugin to add the shakes.
