Default In the Beginning...

Hey guys

Im Arez and im new to this forum and to Lightwave. I just got Lightwave 8 and Modeler which both look like amazing program. Well..Unfor, im not " amazing" or even "good" at this program because i am a noob -_-;;

Just came to ask if you guys could recommend any basic modeling tutorials that would give me step by step in simply creating something and texturing it? And i mean DEAD basic. I ran thought a tutorial earler about lighting and thought i done pritty well with it

Welcome to the site. Did you searched the official website for tutorials ( www.newtek.com )? They've got tons of (video)tutorials.
Maybe this one you can use:
basic modeling tutorial?????
Not sure if it is something you can use, because quicktime isn't working here at the moment.

Good luck! Don't be asshamed to post some "work in progresses" here. It would be cool to help you with some projects.

I've got another tip. Just select a random tool, and start searching on the internet of how it might work. Keep experimenting with the tool untill you starting to understand it.

If you're done, grab another tool and do exactly the same.

Remember that understanding how the tools are working is important. But to understand WHEN to use them is also important.
