Default I wonder

Hi guys

I'm wondering ...
It is very quiet here ...

The only admin around is fallen
but what about the merge ?
and what with the support for those who need help with the tutorials ? I don't see any instructor around here no more ...

Mark is still around, and I'm pretty sure David Mitchell is around as well judging by the last reply he gave just a few days ago regarding new tutes:

As for tutorial support, I'm trying to do the best I can for Philip's old tutorials since he's moved on to bigger and better things, and I'm sure Dave Mitchell is contactable as well if none of the rest of us can sort out a problem.

From the official thread in SimplyMaya, this is from Tubby concerning Site Merges:

"Yeap there has been a delay, due to various reasons.

1: A massive hardware upgrade

2: Move to a new Data center (Bigger and better bandwidth)

3: Support for new services with in the sites

4: Merging 3 databases into one (and getting it right)

Plus a few other things, hopefully it wont be to much longer. However we want to get it right firsttime so there will be a lot of beta testing of the new site before going live."

That was posted back in May and we haven't heard anything since. I know that David, the Site Programmer is still active on SimplyMaya but it looks like us lowly Lightwavers have been forgotten about.

I'll try giving him a prod to see if he still remembers us
