I would suggest what you really need to learn is the fundamentals rather than necessarily asking for tutorials to model specific things. Whilst it would be great if we got tutorials to model whatever it is we would like to model and see how different people tackle things, what is really needed is for you, or anyone beginning with Lightwave, to learn how to do the basic modelling and then apply this knowledge to make what you want.
For example, if you were to take up the trade of glass-blowing, you wouldn't be shown how to create every single piece of glassware under the sun, you would be shown the principles and techniques for shaping glass and then, after a while, learn how to use these techniques to do your own thing. It would be similar with Lightwave and many other things you may learn. My suggestion would be to take something similar, like some sort of organic modelling tutorial and see if you can pick up the knowledge you need from there. |
