Default Image Viewer

Hi all, I recently purchased the essential LW 9 book, to study and get up to speed. But in the book (in the rendering section) they're talking about an image viewer fp, i don't have that as an option, is this something I need to install? am I missing something.

I also noticed that when I preview a render the image viewer that window show that I'm working in 128 bit, any way to change that to 32, obviously I don;t mind working in 128, just curious if working in 32 will speed up things around.

Thanks in advance.

p.s. Working on a Mac with LW 9.6
