Unhappy Resume not supported

It makes it very hard to download large files such as tutorials that are quite often larger than 20MB and not being able to resume the download with a download manger. This makes it very hard for to get the tutorials as I live in a remote area of Australia and we only have limited bandwidth (56k) and quite often the downloads drop of so I have to start all over again, and this can become rather frustrating at times I hope something can be done to fix this problem as I enjoy this site and your tutorials immensely as I am a new Lightwave user and the information that is avaliable here is brilliant

The resume thing is a security issue, I believe David is working on an option to split up the large files in numerous smaller files so just hang tight mate..

yep- check out here: http://www.simplymaya.com/cgi-bin/vi...h=sm_cyberdog1

here you can break your files down from a floppy drive size or even download the whole file in one piece!

It will be added to simply lightwave as soon as the max site is complete

You may also find that the 'Always Resume' function in the registered version of DAP may also work. (But don't come looking for me if it doesn't - not tried it myself)

Yes the split file option will be in place here as soon as its been properly stress tested at simplymaya this will allows you to download the file in the best size chunks to fit your needs.
