Haha, it'd take a pretty funny lookin alien to control that thing!

Mark, no I didn't get that object converted... I modelled this one in lw from scratch. It's still very much a WIP but I've sorted out my first ever expression in layout coz I've got the pedals rotating negatively according to the wheel rotation so as to stay upright.

It's based on the unicycle at http://www.unicycle.com/shopping/shopexd.asp?id=619 if anyone's interested.
